I live in a small agricultural community and the greater percentage of the men wear bluejeans, ones that have dirt and grease on them. Generally they are held up by suspenders so they have part of the old man stereotype covered. To me the jeans show that they work for a living. Should they throw the jeans away for pastel colored golf pants and polo shirts?
I wear bluejeans but I also wear suspenders so I guess they balance out. I smoke a pipe so I guess I would be cast into the 40's clique even though I am fifty. I haven't graduated to the fat short and chewed on stereotypical cigar fot people my age.
I guess what I'm trying to say as many others already have is that appearance is not an absolute. Maturity is...

I hope our allies realize by looking at the overwhelming dislike of the American people for Obama's politics that his views are not typical of Americans. We Do appreciate and respect our allies and what they have and continue to do for us!

I find your offense at Mr. Williams term African American offensive for the following reasons:

1. He never USED the term African American,he said Black American

2. He is a Black American himself

3. You didn't mention what the phrase/word/term of the day is! Perhaps you ought to email Mr.Williams to let him know what wouldn't offend you! Until then get off your whining "high horse" until YOU can post a solution instead of a complaint!

OK, I'm confused (more so than usual). Since the "N" word was used repeatly wouldn't this fall under the category of a "hate" crime. I wonder what would have happened to these thugs if he was:

A. Gay

B. Hispanic

C. A muslim
