Adam Lanza pulled the trigger but naive, irresponsible, self-serving politicians are knee-deep in the blood of innocents because they enabled his slaughter of our babies by creating a place that was safe for him to perpetrate this outrage. Yet, with blood dripping from their hands, they continue to perpetuate this folly. Why is it that they believe that the children of the President, Senators, Congressmen, wealthy people, and Hollywood elites are deserving of armed guards to protect them but our children get a "gun free zone" sign instead?

I don't know I guess that they think their kids are worth more. Its a whole different thing in that circle than it is in the world of real people.

I’m not a big gun owner and I’m not part of the gun culture. So why, then, do I frequently post about the issue of gun control?

Mostly because I believe in freedom and the Constitution.

But I also appreciate facts and analysis and I know that law-abiding citizens are safer and criminals face greater obstacles when good people have the right of self defense.

Last but not least, I think there’s a non-trivial possibility that the United States will suffer some sort of social chaos and/or breakdown of law and order because of the damage caused by reckless...
