How did the apostle John know about modern technology? In his book of Revelation. He could not have known that man would someday be able to mark people on their hands and that man would be prevented from buying and selling according to obedience to an evil government. That the government would one day have the ability to totally control humanity and track us with computers. It is interesting that evil people in government are already trying to control the ability to do business of those that disagree with them. Homosexuals are always trying to put people out of business. I do not put my hope in the rapture but in Jesus Christ. I do know that when He rules as king the world will see true justice.

The Bible doesn't mention computers. And the authors certainly knew about tattoos. You simply show that some Christians will read anything they like into the Bible. You're behaving like a New Ager reading Nostradamus.

Good post, Marie. There are over 700 prophecies in the Old Testament, many of which were specifically about Jesus and they came true exactly as prophesied centuries before. Atheists are so shallow that they just mock this as "coincidence", rather than doing any sort of investigation or homework.
Last week the New York Times published an opinion piece that offered atheism's response to the evil/tragedy in which 20 children and six adults were murdered at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut.

What prompted Susan Jacoby to write her piece was a colleague telling her that atheism "has nothing to offer when people are suffering."

She wrote the piece, "The Blessings of Atheism" ("It is Here and It is Now!" screams the subhead) to prove her colleague wrong by offering a consoling atheist alternative to religion's consoling belief in an afterlife. Atheists cannot believe that there is any...
