As others have pointed out above, ethanol must be transported by truck or rail as it is so corrosive it cannot be transported in existing pipelines. Oh, so all we have to do is build a NEW pipeline system from the Midwest to the rest of the country. That couldn't cost much, right Mr. Gaffney?

And let's see: corn is raised by tractors running on diesel and gasoline. I know! Let's just convert those tractors to ethanol! Woohoo! Sort of like...
