Obama’s Sequestration Scam

They say that Nero played the fiddle while Rome burned. At least he had a talent...What do you suppose history will say about Obama plaing golf while America was being destroyed? What was it that Marie said "Let them eat cake". Or as the King said in Wizard of ID- the kinght comes rushing in and says "Sire the peasants are revolting."The king responds "You can say that again." Obama just needs to find someplace to hide while those revolting people are being trampled and out of the way. Like Charles Manson, he plans to emerge from the desert as the savior of mankind when the stuff hits the fan, and civil war breaks out. Narcissists are all alike.

WOW! that's an intense article. I much appreciate the logic, and feel I learned something I did not previously know- or if I did, I compartmentaalized it as something that was just a "nature of the beast" sort of thing. Well done. It is pbvious that today you are a changed woman who can look at her past and laugh. As we all should be able to do.

Global warmists were wrong in 1975 when they were global coolists. And they are still wrong. The facts are that nobody really has the data to prove one way or the other. As John points out, there are too many variables they leave out of the equation. I mean- really- did you have a thermometer 100 years ago that was accurate to 100 degrees, and barring that, do you really think that tree rings can tell you a story?? I work in the process control field and we don't even have sensors that can measure 1 degree absolute, 1 degree relative is possible, but not absolute. And who wants to go to the trouble of doing a true wet-bulb temperature? Thermodynamics- study it. Then get back to us when you understand heat transfer mechanisms.
Oh, and let's not forget the military has on more than one occasion saved you from having to speak German or Japanese. But then, that's noet exactly a foreign policy matter is it?
Surely you jest? Maybe you would prefer if we just send 100% of our income to the state. they then decide what we NEED to survie, and send us that in the form of certificates we can use to buy things like rice. Then, if we do things that are better for all, we get extra certificates. And then the government has all the money they need to control and manipulate things from their central control panel. And they redisctibute the rest so that nobody ever starves or needs a job. Wait a minute- that's what China does. What the heck, they sill soon own us anyway.

If Obama Gets His Way on Sequestration

Maybe, just Maybe, the press is starting to realize what Obama is starting to realize. Obama realizes that he doesn't need to play nice to get re-elected. The press is realizing that no matter what they do, they cannot get him re-elected. So, perhaps they shoudl begin to act like adults for awhile until the next golden child appears.
Mr. Barone ignores the basic fact that inorder to be a republican candidate, you have to have won almost every medal of honor available, or you are simply not good enough. Whereas, the democrats consder a sordid past (and even a sordid present) to be a badge of honor. Look at people liek Barney Frank, Bill Clinton, etc. they even appoint law breakers to high positions.
I was with him right up until the part where Obama has to tell them to end socialism- the very thing he is instituting in the USA.
John- Not certain you read commetns, but you are incorrect about Rocky Mountain Shale deposits. They cannot be simply recovered by fracking. These are tightly contained oil, and as such would require a combination of mining the rock that contains the shale, pulverizing it and then using autoclaves, and steam to drive the oil off the rock- similar to what the Canadians do with oil sands. The canadians are lucky in that their substrate (sand) is alreeady fine enough to use only the secondary part of that process. It is still considered by many to be cost prohibitive, not because of the technology, but because of the permitting process costs. These deposits were targeted in the early 80's and abandoned. Parachute Colorado- ghost town.
Yes, it was Bush 1 who branded Regan's policies as "vodoo politics" in the primaries. Should have run him out of town on a rail.
