Thanks for another great article Fritz. As noted, the sequester cuts are only a reduction in the spending increase. They are not real reductions to spending. Still, even if they were, would these 2% reductions really be the end of Western Civilization as Obama, Carney, Panetta, Diane Sawyer, and Harry Reid predict? As of 1/1/13, working Americans received a 2% reduction in their incomes, translating to a 2% reduction in their spending ability. Families have to adjust accordingly. Why can't the government?

Just when you see things improving, and you hope that the recovering housing market can be sustained, comes President Obama telling us the world will end if the sequester he created during the 2011 debt ceiling fiasco goes into effect.
