I disagree with Cal. I think the issue here is that many people are beginning to believe that we are past the point where civility and polite decorum have any chance of slowing our nation's headlong plunge into socialism, which will irreversibly destroy the true American dream. Sipping tea and daintily tasting cakes among well mannered elites hardly seems the appropriate response to the unprecedented subversion of our national fabric. I applaud Dr. Carson's courage and his message, delivered with eloquence in the face of his opposition.

Thank you Dr. Carson for having the courage and wherewithal to defeat the "Big Brother" mentality of the MSM. Privately you would never have been heard. The message to control us must be defeated at every opoortunity. We need more like you.

Our politics have become so polarized and corrupted that a president of the United States cannot even attend an event devoted to drawing people closer to God and bridge partisan and cultural divides without being lectured about his policies.
