You are going back a hundred years.Are Americans still apologising for slavery.The Easter uprising of 1917 led to the 1921 formation of the Republic,the six counties in the north wanted to remain British.Every referendum since has reflected it.The Republic signed a treaty . You don't get it.The Irish people via the Good Friday agreement have voted that the six counties remain British until a majority wants change and it has to be via peaceful means. You can't use terrorism,the ballot box ,not the bomb.The I.R.A/Sinn Fein have agreed to this. You are making assumption's that the I.R.A are not making.Please,please look this up before you make any more ridiculous statements. I am Irish for goodness sake,i know more about this then you.
