ObamaCare Strikes Again

I just went through 5 years of watching my mother die of Alzheimer's. Thank God she had excellent coverage through her teacher's union. I'll never enjoy the fabulous end-of-life care that she had, and that truly scares me. At the age of 86, she fell, crushed her hip, and was given a replacement within 48 hours. Under Obamacare, no doubt she would have waited and perhaps been denied help altogether because she was "too old." The people behind this "healthcare" program are sick SOBs who will never have to fear for themselves or their families, and don't give a #@%! about the rest of us.

What is it with this administration -- a general envy and resentment of success ("You didn't build that!") or just a general incompetence at anything to do with basic economics? Like the old and bitter truth that the surest way to make something scarcer is to tax it.

The administration's latest victim is the American medical-device industry -- the people who make everything from body-scanning...
