People are barking up the wrong tree. Drone strike tactics to kill American terrorists operating overseas is a badly needed weapon in the war on terrorism, esp. in physical/geographical cesspools like Yemen, Afghanistan and Pakistan where it is extremely dangerous to insert human hunter-killer/capture teams. During WW2, American citizens of German ancestry were killed by our forces in the European theater. Nobody gave a damned about their "rights" because they had forfeited them, under law, when they took up arms against the US. AmericanTaliban and Al Qaeda members/supporters are fair game. If they fight against America and Americans, they have earned the right to die where they are found. Time to quite being whiny little libertarians and aiding the marxist, Anti-American Left in their efforts to cripple our anti-terrorism strategies and tactics and to aid our enemies. Believe me, I've been involved in this fight against the Left wherein they are using "Law Warfare" against both our internal security systems and our defense systems. Saw it from the inside and got it from the best of the communist Legal Left. I am more concerned about what Att. Gen. Eric Holder and his boss, Obama, are planning to do against conservative Americans re the Tea Party organizations, land-owners (re eminent domain, BLM use of environmental laws for land seizures, etc), the energy and transportation industries, and eventually the family farmers. Just look at the price of gasoline, diesel, food, and medical care, and then tell me that a drone use policy against our enemies is actually a serious item to work on. The enemy is right here at home. We need to pick the right targets and not get diverted off into secondary intellectual targetting debates. We should not do the enemy's work for them.

I suggest that MRC take a poll of the people of Boston/Waterton, etc. about whether they were still for draconian gun control during the hunt for terrorist killers in their midst. I suspect that those who were left unarmed in their homes, and were in fear of a crazed terrorist shooting his way into their home, now have a different perspective on reality. I guess you could say that I would feel different than these Bostonians in the same situation. today my police officer son came over, with his recently retired bomb-sniffing K9. They are both protection for my family, though we are legally armed and would make Swiss cheese of any perp trying to get in the house. In fact, our house is the safest one on the block. We are not Boston.
As one who has a defibrilator/pacemaker embedded in my chest to keep me from dropping dead again, I understand the financial pain that Obamacare is going to inflict on future heart patients because of the new taxes on medical devices. Obama sure does look out for the American people. In his warped thinking, taxing them to death will solve a lot of financial/healthcare questions in the future. My defibrilator just appreciated in value so when I die, someone from DHS will be able to rip it out of my chest and recycle it, plus new tax value added. Okay, somewhat joking, but not far from the truth. Minnesota is getting what they voted for with Sen. Franken and the other clown, Secy of State of Minn. Comrade Mark Ritchie, their...

As the nasty Dave Hester of "Storage Wars" would say, "YUP!!!". Adams can slice and dice a hypocrite, be it an individual or an institution, like a Japanese sushi chef on steroids. Bon appetit, Mike!

Americans doing, quietly, what Americans have always done around the world - helping people. Nice column.
What did you expect from a city that has been run by communists, marxists, socialists, progressives and nutcases for decades - sanity? And we thought that marxist/fascist- type authoritarianism only existed abroad. Surprise, surprise! Pogo: "We have seen the enemy and he is us"!

The EPA with Easter Egg on Its Face

This is not "irrelevant". Lisa Jackson is the protege' of avowed "socialist" former EPA Commissioner and White House environmental advisor Carol Browner. Did Jackson fool Shell Oil (assuming the scholarship is a confirmed fact) into thinking that she was a moderate, open-minded individual? If so, they got "took", big time. Anyone associated with Browner, Hansen, Chu, etc. is suspect, for many reasons and should have been deeply investigated by the FBI and Congress.

The EPA is that stupid and disingenuous. They are led by marxists and junk-science people who force their often illegal agendas and policies on those below them in the Agency. If there was ever a government agency that needed a top-to-bottom purge, the EPA is it. There are legitimate reasons to have sane, rational, and practical environmental protection laws, but the EPA is not interested in them. Believe me, I've seen this first hand.
