In a socialist society every one is supposedly equal. The problem is that the first in--leaders are more equal than the rest and have it better than most. The union fits this model very well. Every one is equal but the leaders are more equal and get to live on the backs of the underlings. Most teachers have no idea of what is actually happening. Sad that these are the people teaching our kids.

absolutely...we are not seeing the death of socialism, but the open rise of it. Our children are the losers.

The Chicago Teachers Union and Action Now (formerly known as ACORN) staged yet another protest Tuesday, this time targeting so-called Chicago “fat cats.”

Video from the event reveals that the local Chicago media – particularly Christian Farr of NBC 5 – is disinterested in reporting the radical nature of the union and its allies. Farr said that he’s too “objective” to report such news, even though it occurred right before his eyes.
