NO NO NO NO NO NO As soon as there is an exemption for one, the politicians will use it for their own special interest--gather votes and favors. No exceptions ever for anyone. If a person truely needs help, their fellow citizens will do it without the big arm of the law.

Today is the 100th birthday of the income tax. On February 3, 1913 the 16th amendment was ratified, which enabled the establishment of the federal income tax. This is ever in our mind as tax season is now upon us.
