In response to:

Make the Democrats Own the Obama Economy

Ann is right, no matter what happens republicans will get the blame, so why not just let the tax cuts expire and tell the people that that's what Obama and the DEMS wanted. We can deal with the other stuff later. Also make it well known to Lame Stream Media that the Dem Senate has bills sitting there that would help create jobs but the DEMS have done NOTHING.

It will be a painful 4 years-maybe 2 if we can win the Senate back midterm. However, I think that the winning strategy is to let the Dems own what they have created. We have to start thinking long term and not just about the next election. We can't win the media war. If the Reps participate in this sham compromise, they will surely be blamed for any bad consequences.
A bad compromise is worse than no deal. Let the Dems take us to Greece and then we may see our numbers increase at the ballot box.

I believe it will only help the Tea Party and hurt Washington DC. But the soicopaths seem to have a plan for everything and there is always voter fraud if that doesn't work.

One bright spot of Barack Obama's re-election was knowing that unemployment rates were about to soar for the precise groups that voted for him -- young people, unskilled workers and single women with degrees in gender studies. But now the Democrats are sullying my silver lining by forcing Republicans to block an utterly pointless tax-raising scheme in order to blame the coming economic Armageddon on them.

Democrats are proposing to reinstate the Bush tax cuts for everyone ... except "the rich." (Why do only tax cuts come with an expiration date? Why not tax increases? Why not...
