Funny thing is, if you look at the raw temperature data such as that available at NCDC CLIMVIS and you graph the temps in the U.S. from 1895 (first available year) to 2009, you will see no hockey stick. In fact, what you will see is an increase of 0.44 C over a century. They remade the graphs but even more crucifying is the temperature graph from 1997 - 2009. It showed a decrease of 0.44 C. OMG! Another ice age!

I guess the thing that really chaps my hide is that alarmists will tell you that extreme weather is caused by AGW (Tyler, et. al.) but there was extreme weather before and there will be extreme weather again. Look at the MWP and LIA and lest we forget the Roman Warm period. Truth is the scientists don't know enough about...
