Not bad, but it misses the really important point. Capitalism by definition is private ownership and control of the means of production. Income is the product of labor and capital. What right do others have to take such product by force? Even if you don't like the foregoing argument based on morality, try this one based on history. Capitalism has been the greatest social welfare scheme in history, lifting literally billions of people from poverty. Socialism has done the opposite, as in communist China & the Soviet Union. 40 million killed by famine in the Great Leap Forward alone. When was the last famine in a capitalist country?

Famine almost never occurs in a country where it is possible to own land. It is virtually exclusively a problem of those countries where land tenure is uncertain or non existent, as in most African countries, USSR, Red China, etc.

I’m chomping on the chocolate bunny (ears first!) that I found in my basket and it occurs to me that believing in Christ’s resurrection requires a capitalist mindset. Certainly, you could be a capitalist without believing in Christ’s resurrection since it requires faith to believe in the resurrection. And, Christ’s primary mission on earth was not to overthrow human forms of government.
