All good. My favorite would be Rubio. I believe Portman is probably on the list...Ohio. Thune has been mentioned, probably also good. Ryan might be polarizing because of the mediscare campaign. He's great where he is. I don't think Condi could be talked into it, but she would be great.

Well, I wouldn't withhold my vote on something a poster here named billo says. Dr. Rice has enough of a track record to inform a decision.
West and Perry are good guys, but neither of them on the ticket would help win the election. they should stay where they are. IMO.

Condi-no way simply because Banned Billo keeps beating her drum.
Portman-if I still lived in Cincinnati I'd have voted for him because I had no other choice. But I can't stand old-money Indian Hill third-generation rich Protestant snobs!
Would like McDonnell (at least he served if only JAG) if we can't have Perry or West.

Curtains for Rick Santorum?

Mitt Romney's taken the lead in PPP's newest poll of Rick Santorum's home state of Pennsylvania. Romney has 42% to 37% for Santorum with Ron Paul at 9% and Newt Gingrich at 6%. The numbers represent a dramatic turnaround from when PPP polled the state a month ago. Romney's gained 17 points, going from 25% to 42%. Meanwhile Santorum's dropped 6 points from 43% to 37%, for an overall swing of 23 points in the last four weeks.

Pennsylvania Republicans are expressing major doubts about Santorum's viability both...
