I believe the problem is that too many have succumbed to the narcotic effect of socialism. Much like spoiling a child by giving it everything it wants free gratis. Soon the child is worthless as a producer and continually demands more. A point is reached where there is no more and the lifeboat sinks. The only conclusion is that those of the Democratic Party persuasion are cowards who willingly contribute to the destruction of our society while sanctimoniously claiming to care.
