This 1) helps Obama change the subject from ObamaCare and 2) explains why no one ever wants to be specific. No matter WHAT Romney had said, this outrage would be whirling. Because every government program is a sacred cow. Big Bird will be fine and everyone knows it. And kids need to get off their backsides from in front of the TV and go play for heaven's sake. Love this woman. Sarah Palin was on fire on O'Reilly Tuesday night, too. Where are the men with this kind of fire and passion? Well, Rush, Beck, Hannity, Levin of course, but as guests on these shows? Where are they?

I just talked with a neighbor who phoned from an Obama rally and she was SHAKING. She was in awe. So thrilled, enraptured. It was just weird. It's like she was in a cult or something. She will not admit the man can take a BREATH that is other than brilliant. Is that it? Is this a cult? I'm really conservative and I liked GW Bush but I have no problem seeing his weaknesses and admitting to anyone he made some major mistakes (in my opinion). What is with these madly devoted followers. Maybe after he's out of office, Obama can start a church. Scientobamaists. Obamaology. Barackiacs.

I've had two people I really respect tell me in the last 24 hours that we've gone too far, gone too deeply in debt, we can't avoid a terrible crash, probably Greece-like riots, truly painful cuts in everything, to fix this mess. Can anyone cheer me up?
