Obama AWOL during Benghazi Attack

One would have to be deaf, dumb, and blind not to understand this for the cover-up it obviously is. There are those in a position to know who contend Benghazi was a prearranged 'kidnapping' staged so Obama could appear presidential by negotiating an exchange of Stevens for Omar Abdel-Rahman, the Blind Shiekh, this to shore up his sagging poll numbers in the run-up to the 2012 election. When the two un-enlightened Navy Seals resisted the terrorists assumed Obama had betrayed them and raped and tortured Stevens leading to his later death. This deal was likely set up by the intelligence arm of the Democrat party, the CIA. It isn't that Obama was absent. He was in hiding.

The Blame Righty Mob Falls Silent

Aren't most of these mass-murderers registered Democrats (or spawn of same in the case of Columbine)? The Sikh temple shooting is the only recent one where a right-wing extremist was the perp.

Doubling Down on Anti-Gun News

They don't. They blame it on the places that don't have their enlightened attitude causing their streets to be flooded with illegals guns.

Doubling Down on Anti-Gun News

One might pause to question 'the "news" manufacturers aren't hoping for a school shooting'. What continues to be overlooked is the real role of the gun. Rather than having as its only reason for being to kill the real role of the gun is to act as a deterrent to those who would do us harm. When that deterrent factor is missing as it is in areas with strict gun control violence escalates. The crowning achievement of the anti-gun crowd is the gun free zone which they've managed to institute in our schools. Are these people really that stupid or is it they don't mind sacrificing a few more children on the altar of Progressivism if they can exploit the tragedy? Hint: this is the same crowd claiming abortion as a right.
That seems in the cards, alright. I recall reading warnings that since government intervention stopped the consolidation and contraction phases of the business cycle in 2008 we would simply have continued whipsawing of increasing frequency and severity. Judging from the rate of insider selling it may be sooner rather than later.
I think the privitization of profit and the socialization of risk is a better fit. Easy credit, sure, but that seems just a way of extracting money from the unwashed masses. Plus the government isn't covering everyone's behind, just the politically influencial, the crony capitalists.

Obama and Gun Control

No, the discussion isn't taking place. It was never meant to take place. If it were some embarrassing questions might be raised. For instance if even the most fervent anti-gunner would refuse to put a sign on their door proudly proclaiming their home to be gun-free why do they demand our schools be turned into magnets for lunatic mass-murderers by having them designated gun-free zones? Are they that stupid or is it they don't mind having a few more children sacrificed on the altar of Progressivism so they can exploit the tragedy? Hint: this is the same crowd that thinks killing 1.2 million unborn each year is a human right.
We should be cleaning house but it isn't going to happen. Both Fannie and Freddie have both been an oasis in the desert for Democrats for decades and they've milked it for everything they could get (and that was a lot.) For those doubters try reading Morgensen and Rosner's "Reckless Endangerment" to see how the system worked in the past, continues to work now, and will continue to work in the future.

Where Will You Go if America Collapses?

M1946W Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 8:37 AM
Collapse or no I'm in favor of the part of the country that still wants the old, moldy Constitution with it's Bill of Rights and limited government to split off from the new, hip, living Constitution part that gives us our rights and then changes or takes them away at its whim. That's really what we have, a new civil war between two competing philosophies. Let the Progressives go their own way and check on them every 20 years or so to see if anyone is left alive.
