In response to:

Carbon not Culprit in Global Warming, Science Is Say Scientists

Ransom's grasp of science remains tenuous, he is also pretty sloppy in his research. Tenuous because he states "To think! The largest energy absorption mechanism in the world is responsible for sucking up excess energy?" But the energy has not "gone away", the warming of the ocean is well-documented and it is part of the energy "budget". About 90% of overall global warming goes into heating the oceans, and the oceans have been warming dramatically. ...

Careful, don't confuse the deniers. When you point out that there argument is a red herring, they accuse you of changing the subject.

With equal logic to yours, I point out that your statement is meaningless because you used the word "there."

Funny how climate models don't take into account water vapor, the most abundant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.

Sir Brian Hoskins, a committee member on the Committee on Climate Change (UK), made the claim in an interview three years ago that started out as a climate scientist, the models were ‘pretty lousy, and they’re still pretty lousy, really’.

No warming since 1998. the climate warmers are incompetent-stay on subject

Sloppy because he clearly didn't bother to look at the Nature paper since he talks about the scientists

"To those of us who lack both the federal training and the federal funding that these scientists"

but "these scientists" Virginie Guemas, Francisco J. Doblas-Reyes, Isabel Andreu-Burill, and Muhammad Asif, are all at Spanish Research institutes--not federally funded.

Do you seriously believe that taxpayer money doesn't go to all these coattail hanger-ons through foreign aid, various grants, UN funding, etc.? Don't be so naive, the American people are being sucked dry to pay for these "research" programs all around the world.

A new paper that recently replaced the old paper that settled the science of global warming is now out - and not a moment too soon, either.

Because the new paper essentially says: “Um, guys? Never mind.” :/).

Ok, they don't really say that, but actually they really do.

“Sea level rise is one of the big issues of global warming. It could potentially swamp coastal cities or make them far more vulnerable to storms, such as Hurricane Katrina,” says Science World Report, apparently a wholly owned division of Wayne’s World Publishing, operating under the motto...
