How quickly we forget. All Federal public servants, including the Pres. take a simple oath. To support and defend...the Constitution. Demeaning it is demeaning us as a nation, and a people. The "slavery" argument doesn't fly, it was addressed in several amendments. No American can read the Constitution and debate its validity. Indeed it is the source of the structure and authority of our system. The weak attacks on it are simply wrong. If you are going to be critical of something, you should probably read it!

Jeffery Tortured for Christ is a great book, and an example of the reality of the "religion of peace". Christian missionaries are being tortured right now in Islamic countries, and yet WE are intolerant! Think again.

William et. al. Read the Koran. It's on the web. Your defense of Islam is based on ignorance. I have read the Bible cover to cover three times, the Torah once, the Koran once (I browse it often). Violence against unbelievers is a tenet of Islam. Most Muslims don't do it, in the same way most Christians and Jews don't follow the "eye for an eye" philosophy. But it is written in the Koran. I challenge you to find one Christian who will kill for a Bible burning, or a Jew who will kill for a Torah burning. While Rev. Jones proposed act was in poor taste, it certainly is not worth a single human life. If you detest the WEST so much, stop sucking our resources and move. Pakistan is nice this time of year...

Using Time magazine as a source...as magazine"as red as it's cover!". Let me see wasn't it Time that reported "Castro is not a communist"? Have you ever talked with a human being who survived Castro's revolution or who lived in Cuba prior to it? Dang dude, WAKE UP! These are people were talking about not freaking numbers! How can you possibly compare the amount of people tortured and imprisoned for political gain prior to the revolution to Castro and Che? Facts are hard things to debate.

The President can't spend our money directly. Only Congress has that authority (read the Constitution, I do). Who controlled Congress in 2007...Dems!

True Patriots! It is commendatory of Mr Phillips son, and other young Americans, to decide to join our Armed Forces. I have personally witnessed their courage and self sacrifice, God Bless them All.
