Romney was ineffective at beating a thoroughly leftist, statist candidate because he showed no passion for capitalism and individual freedom. He came across as not standing much for anything-bland and compromising. He delivered no new bold ideas just rehash of the status quo. That is why he lost. He was a wishy washy candidate that most republicans reluctantly voted for in the hopes of getting rid of Obama. Well it didn't work and that will never work. You need a genuine candidate that is a fierce defender of liberty.

Memorandum to the GOP: When running an election campaign it is often valuable to select a nominee who represents the rank and file of the Party. This is how other Parties do it. Perhaps you might get on board.
