You sling that gun, gramma -- just don't get trigger-happy and decide you're going to shoot at whatever moves. And you better hope that if someone (and I sincerely hope this does NOT happen)comes at you and you point a gun at them, that they're not strong enough, or that they don't have accomplices who can take the gun and shoot YOU.

Too many people know how to use a gun, but when they're actually confronted by someone in a scary situation, they freak out. Experienced criminals may not be stopped by an older woman brandishing a gun -- so for goodness sake be careful!!!!

you're wasting your time if you think that the right to an abortion will be overturned. If it does, then women will find a way to get one either by taking RU486, or another drug that brings on a miscarriage. The med. technology has improved greatly and it's no longer necessary to do the standard D&C. You can be assured that those who believe that women have the right to a choice, will do whatever it takes to ensure that it's not taken away.

An entire second generation of women have had the right to choose. There's no way they would give it up any more than a black person would give up the equality they earned during the civil rights era. Outlawing it would not stop it from happening and could theoretically make it easier and...

The SCOTUS Kerfuffle

So, in one paragraph she states:

They're not there to decide policy. Rather, the only question for them is whether it's constitutional to limit the corporations' First Amendment

AND THEN:

(And as a law professor, one would think he'd know enough not to alienate justices whose opinions may have some impact on his future success . . . they're only human, after all.)

Sooo, which is it LIEbau??? So the SCOTUS are a corrupt group of individuals who will use their power to impact his future??? Tsk, Tsk -- they're not supposed to do that -- they're supposed to be completely impartial, Right?? Right??

Gee, it's funny how all you little screechers want to criticize the SCOTUS for Roe v Wade, but no one...

about getting all giddy with excitement. If you do, then you'll be making the same mistakes the Dems made... The Mass victory was good for Repubs and it did send a 'message.' But don't forget, it wasn't exactly a landslide, and she was the worst possible choice -- I mean really -- insulting Fenway Park???? Don't lose sight of the goal here and don't be fooled into thinking that people want to go back to the kind of government G.W. Bush ran -- it was equally appalling. Repubs have a long way to go in getting more viable candidates who appeal to voters of all parties. So enjoy the victory, but there's still a lot of support out there for the kind of world Obama wants. Just remember that.
this "Ronna" person's comments.

You're disgusting!!! What's wrong with you??? Most people are having discussions and you're puking on people with your filth!

Terry's right -- get outta here weirdo!!!

Palin: A Fresh Face @ Fox

Yea!!! Now if you want to hear her dumb-as-dirt philosophy on life in the U.S. you have to actually tune in to her show. That's great news -- she can live in Foxville, talk only to people who won't challenge her, make a ton of money and tell her tall tales of victimhood to the faithful.

Smart move on her part. Go with the money and the people be damned!
Yes I'm a day late in responding. Here's the deal: I won't tell you too much but I do work in publishing and I do know that what someone writes about (especially 'autobiographies') more times than not, has NOTHING to do with who they are and what they believe. Writing a book is a business venture designed to make money for all involved. Palin did not 'write' the book --- she may sketched it out or dictated certain parts of it, but she had a nice little team to write it for her in 4 months. She did not quit the governor job to "reload" or "proceed in another direction." That's like your kid saying he's quitting school to proceed in another direction. She didn't want the scrutiny of the press - she became VERY popular which is both a...
now it's time to speak out.

I don't know what "poll" numbers everyone is spouting but you're far removed from reality. Most people have questions and concerns about specifics in the HC bill, but you're dead wrong if you think most people are against it. That is simply not true. The insurance companies are greed-driven and if you think for one moment that you're better off with Aetna than you are with a regulated provider you better hope you don't get sick.

As for Obama's poll numbers. And let me add, I work for a polling company and I'll tell you that the majority of Americans who are polled approve of the job Obama is doing and believe that the economy and the HC bill have caused a lot of controversy and a lot of...

Never mind the silly, childish comments about me -- an 8 year old can make better sarcastic comments than you guys.

Do YOU think it's a good idea for corporations to be able to contribute unlimited funds to a candidate??

Good for you guys! You've proven once and for all how stupid and ignorant the conservative losers are --what's most important to the conservative voter -- Looks!!!

When it comes to a woman how she looks is more important than her policies. In fact, it's the ony thing that matters! If a woman wants to be in politics and be a conservative she better be pretty!!!

I love it -- you all spoke for yourselves. The only direction a conservative can lead the U.S. is backwards, backwards, backwards - back to the days when blacks and women knew their place, right morons???
