And why should we think things should be otherwise? After all, our federal government is allowing itself to be extorted by foreign countries we want to curry favor with. We pay them money to be nice to us and they then give that money to terrorist groups to train people to hurt us. It's extortion, plain and simple. The Dems have been extorting poor people for decades -- "You can only continue to get your government money if you vote for us!" So where's the surprise, Mr. O'Reilly?

I totally agree with you! We need the entire Republican Party to be more like Congressman West, NOT the other way around. Mr. West appears to me to be a well-spoken man of honesty, integrity and conviction, all of which have been missing from the political scene for a VERY long time. Sad for me that there is no one like him in my state. I wish there was.

Oops, forgot to say -- I still support Gingrich and wish others did. I will be voting for him in the primary and would MUCH rather be voting for him when the general election rolls around. Gingrich could beat Obama in debates and, after hearing him speak, I believe a lot of voters would back him. I'm not sure Romney can or will be able to beat Obama in debates or at the polls.

Even though it irritates me, even though he's been shoved down my throat by the media and pundits, even though I don't really believe he's a true conservative, even though I do believe he's buying this election, I will have no choice but to support Mitt Romney in the voting booth. The other choice is lunacy.

Mr. Norris, you've brought up some really valid points which bear researching and thinking about. I have long supported Newt and continue to do so. This country truly needs someone of Newt's character and caliber right now.

Romney has been campaigning for YEARS and is trying to literally buy this election, aided and abetted by the established RNC. Shame on them!!! I mean, what does Romney stand for? It seems to depend on a whim! But they think we'll all fall for their negative and misinformation campaign. Some people will, I'm sure, but I think (hope) most of us have educated ourselves enough to know better. Romney's always been a RINO and will be Obama's twin if he gets in office. We really need to stop him or it will just be business as usual, which will ruin what we have left of America.
