I find it ironic (as well as disgusting, stomach turning, astounding- I could go on) that the same party that not only allows, but encourages and PAYS for (with our $ of course) the horrific deaths of children -no matter how far along in gestation, but is against the death penalty. I'll never understand how you can talk out of both sides of your mouth. Religious beliefs aside, a life is a life- and the systematic destruction of unborn has turned our country into the savage nation it is.
I too had a choice when it wasn't 'cool' to be a single mom- my daughter is about to turn 35 now...and a reminder of how precious life is.
During the 2012 election season the American people were subjected to hundreds of campaign ads. Among these were several geared towards women, and many of these were paid for by Planned Parenthood. According to Planned Parenthood, Mitt Romney was bad for women because he wanted to cut federal funding for the organization, thereby depriving millions of women of "vital services." We heard a lot about cancer screenings in these ads, but very little about abortions.
The reality is that abortion is big business for Planned Parenthood, and Uncle Sam continues to be a complicit financier of the organization's...
And yet so many who support abortion wrongly act like there's no grounds for opposing it *except* religious grounds. Actually, that applies to many things.
