There is a term that we use in the military: BOHICA. It stands for Bend Over Here It Comes Again. Those Hostess Bakers assured that all Hostess hourly employees would get $crewed sooner rather than later. It is profoundly ironic that the Teamsters are going down with the ship as well.

Exactly. One union went on strike and put all four unions out of work... permanently. Some of the members of the other unions are less than happy with the other union's leadership.

For those of you in the Bakers' union, you're out of work and going to lose everything because of the decisions of someone who will continue to receive a six figure salary even though they destroyed you financially. If you're lucky, the new owners will offer you a job for half what you were making, at least as long as you don't unionize. I guess that 8% pay cut isn't looking too bad right about now is it?

Lynn263, The Teamsters have their lifeboats ready. They are not going down with Hostess Titanic. Teamsters bosses have their pay already secure. Because we have become so a greedy society, this is the beginning of things to come. The workers are blinded by the bovine manure spread to them by the head of those unions. Maybe the DC crowd can give them a job in the administration, call the HOSTESS CZARS.

Your compassion is heartwarming, but your obvious lack of education, or low IQ, is disheartening. It is sad for the families because all they wanted was a decent life, and none of them had a choice in whether to join the union or not.
