Academic Malpractice Part 818

I advocate for concealed carry on all college and university campuses. If a student or visitor is headed onto a campus the perp knows that they are unarmed. The same is true when leaving the campus. 100% required concealed carry by both faculty and students would be great. However just giving faculty and students the choice to carry or not carry would certainly keep the perps on their toes. It seems to me that all I ever hear from liberals is their pro-choice mantra.

for liberals, "choice" is an interesting phenomenon: when it comes to killing not-yet-born American children, they favour the mother's "right" to do so. When it comes to others, already born, protecting their own/others' lives, they object to our exercising our "choice" to do so. Mosst are rather hypocritical about it.. "civic leaders" like Daley and Bloomburg vehemently deny their "subjects" the right to defend themselves, yet hire, at HUGE taxpayer expense, large cadres of heavily armed and trained bodyguards to assure THEIR safety. What's sauxe for the goose don't get onto the table of the gander.....

I am a college prof. I favor concealed carry on my college campus, because if that were the case, I would give all my students A's (which would solve my difficulties and agonies of grading).

Funny thing about li(e)berals:
They don't have a problem killing unborn babies, while at the same time they have a problem with people being able to prevent criminals from killing us.
Author’s Note: This is the 818th column I have written since September of 2003. If you are tired of hearing about liberal hypocrisy in academia, please do not read this latest offering. If you like guns, however, keep reading.

Dear Professor Hoplophobe (pseudonym):

First I would like to thank you for your willingness to discuss Second Amendment issues despite our deep disagreement about the scope and applicability of this important constitutional right. The first time we broached the issue, the tenor of our discussion was less than civil. Since then, you have agreed to continue...
