Far too many perks and advantages for those elected to "SERVE" us. They knew their role, hours, demands, purposes. Why such exorbitant salaries, and perks... especially retirement benefits for our servants. They should not earn more than the average wages for their state's average wage earner. And our prima donna movie stars need some realization also. How about our professional athletes who have abilities to run and jump, fall and tackle, skate and spin. Why are they rewarded so much more than the teachers of our youth. I am not for socialism, but believe outlandish rewards for politicians, athletes, and movie stars.... need a new level of realization.

Generally, employers offer salaries at the minimum level that is still competitive for the position. If they did not offer at least that, they know that anyone qualified would not apply. You will not be able to find anyone to fill the position if you do not offer a competitive salary (which includes fringe benefits).

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid want you to know that the rich are out of control.

After thinking about it for a few years, they have finally figured out that our economic problems have a very simple explanation: There are too many rich people.

Too many rich people are causing a jobless “recovery.” Having too many rich people caused the Fukushima nuclear reactor to meltdown. The rich are probably responsible for the next ice age too.
