Without government control, free market practices would drive down the cost of heath care while at the same time it would improve on services. Insurance would also cost less, as a direct result, and may not even be needed in time. We have been working at this from the wrong direction for way too long. The AMA is like a giant union that drives up prices and costs and is the primary reason that we needed insurance in the first place. Now I realize that this is a radical idea, much like the radical notion that we Americans feel that we should be free or something.
Ask the Internationals, the bankers and the war machine. Therein lies your answer. Get behind Ron Paul before it is too late.
NO There is no GOP or Republican alternative to Obamacare. However there is a very good common sense alternative to Obamacare and it is called "Free Market Driven Health Care" where you remove the government from it and let the people choose what they want to do and with what doctors. Get rid of the AMA and the other government departments that control our health, drugs, food and etc. etc. and let the free market work to drive the price down and give incentives for better service. Of course their will always be snake oil salesmen and other frauds stealing from the gullible, but at least they won't have the government sponsorship to protect them from their illicit dealings.

Romney is just another puppet of the "Washington Mafia" and he may do a few things that may at first look good for the economy, but in the long run it will just be business as usual for the crooks in Congress. I doubt that he would repeal Obama care and I know that he would not stop the attacks on the second amendment. Without our right to bear arms, we will surely lose all other rights as well as we are witnessing at this very minute. I do not hear Romney saying anything about protecting the Constitution or our rights. It's the Freedom Stupid, should be our battle cry from now on.

Change that to "It's our Freedom Stupid" because if we regain our freedom, the economy will take care of itself and come roaring back. Trying to fix the economy without fixing our freedom is futile at best and plays into the hands of our enemies. http://thegreat4thofjulypitchforkparade.blogspot.com/

The Real Prison Industry

Our American prison system is nothing more than a system designed primarily for making money and the secondary reasoning is to reduce crime or to get criminals off of the streets. Prisons are a business and full prisons make money and empty prisons lose money. It would actually be cheaper, for the state, to pay criminals a good salary to stay at home and do nothing than to incarcerate them. Who's going to make anything handing out lashings?

At this moment our first and second amendment rights are under direct attack and once these two are gone, the other will have no meaning at all. So while the journalists are plying their fiddles, America is burning. But not to fear, for the journalists will have a new role to play; reassuring Americans that they are better off without freedom and explaining why $100.00 bread is so good for the economy.

I find it both sad and ironic that so many journalists are still expounding on Democrats versus Republicans, which GOP candidate has the best chance of beating Obama, how Congress is locked up over the budget, how bad the economy is in Europe and how it may affect our economy and on and on as though life will continue and the drama will go on and on. While the journalists are hacking over the details of trivia land, America is gasping for its last breadth of freedom and the sheeple are still fast asleep. Much of our freedom has already been severely impacted by tens of thousands of nefarious laws that kill both commerce and freedom and yet more legislation is under way to finish us off for good.

I agree, prohibition is never good thing and establishing morals by rule of "someone's" law is ridiculous.
Perhaps it is a trick to keep us entertained and from focusing on real issues like why the front runners against Obama are afraid to use the F word, Freedom. We all know that Obama is either sinister or crazy but we apparently don't know that the same folks that support him are also the very same folks who support the rhinos, running against him, who blatantly ignore the real issues of the day. Our loss of freedom and way to much government. These same powers also go out of their way to try and convince you that Ron Paul and others, who are highly concerned about the freedom issues, are not real contenders. The media has been owned by the banksters ever since they bought the media in 1917.
