As his employer - 'THE AMERICAN PEOPLE', said person should be immediately fired and all benefits whithheld pending the discovery of the truth. If the truth shows said person did perform a criminal act, the said person will remained fired, all benefits suspended, and subject to prosecution. That would happen to me if I could not tell the truth about my actions while performing my job.
Campaign Finance is simply one rule: If the entity giving cannot vote, the entity cannot give any material or finanacial support to a candidate or elected official. Valid entities can give money and time without limit but must have time and financial support tracked and viewable on website within 32hrs of giving. Freedom of speech is only valid at the individual basis, groups are made up of individuals and do have the right to associate and redress the government but not buy votes as a group.
Clinton had good things occur during his Tenure The biggest by far was the amount of spending and hiring required for operating entities to be certified Y2K compliant. To assist in the process, Greenspan flooded the economy with cash and left interest rates low. This also inspired the DotCom boom and also created upward pricing for salaries of the IT/Computer Operations employees. These projects began in late 1996 and lasted through 6/1/2000 (2000 was also a leap year). Soon afteward the dotcom bubble busted. In summary Clinton had: Major hiring due to Y2K and DotCom frenzy. A major assist from the Fed and Treasury. Unbursted DotCom bubble. His inteligence was to let it happen.

The only way to stop the overreaching Fed Gov is for the legislatures of the states to nullify all things unconstitutional - as they define unconstitutional, not the supreme court. Long Live the US Constitution!!
For once I agree with the President. It is Congress's fault - the Dem majority congress. Since 2007 has raised the minimum wage around 40%, passed ObamaCare, and Dodd-Frank. Congressional inaction on many levels, President expanding powers into legislative arenas through agencies, has also hurt the economy. Drilling Moratorium - Overturn by courts and ignored by WH EPA Rules NRLA legal action and rules etc... etc...

Close the door on public-sector unions

Unions should only exist when a viable competitor also operates in the same industry. Public Sector Unions are the monopolies that we should loathe, not MicroSoft or Oil companies.
Nothing will change until failure to take education seriously and strive for excellence (students, parents and educators) has massive negative effects on living an independant life on tax payers money. There needs to be a rule for all and any benefits from the treasury - If you don't have a k-12 diploma, or it's equivalent, you don't get the money. Failure to receive and finish your education without reason or cause must not be rewarded. I also suggest that this be a requirement to receive your voter registration card.
Stop the money from unions, pacs, associations, lobbyists and environmental groups, (529's) , and foriegn entities going into politics and you stop it all. From both sides. It all gets in the way of administering the constitution as stated in their oath of office. One simple rule for donating money to elect a policitian will cover it - If it can't vote, no money can be given nor received for any political purpose. Money given must be from income or an inheritance by the giver. A campaign that recieves money must post the givers name and amount given within 30 hrs.

No need to outlaw Unions. Simple rules will win the day. An organization that cannot vote cannot give any material support to any political campaign, 529, or advocacy group. No more PACs, Unions, or foreigners swaying elections. All political contributions must be from private income by the earner of said income. No limit to contributions. Contributions must be verified and posted for public view. The individual must rule the process.
The individual should be king in this Republic. Simple rules will carry the day. If an entitiy cannot vote it cannot give cash to a politician. No more PAC's, Unions, or any other collectivism. If a campaign does receive cash, it has to submit to verification of said individual and their name must be posted for the public. No more 529's or issue advertising, just a campaign for public office by an individual and their appointed managers.
