Bush was briefed that Al Qaida, under Bin Laden's leadership, was planning to attack US targets with airplanes. US targets doesn't necessarily mean IN the US. The consulate in Ben Ghazi was a US target. The Kenyan Embassy bombing was a US target. There was no intelligence data given to Bush which said "Al Qaida is planning to attack targets IN the US by using hijacked airplanes". You progressives need to continue that lie to rewrite history into something which is untrue. Why do you need to lie, as your fearful leader, Obama does? Also, the investigation committee found that there was NO manipulation of intelligence data to mislead congress into authorizing the invasion of Iraq. So stop lying about that, as well.

Just last week, the president adamantly defended his Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, who is widely rumored to be a leading contender to replace Hillary Clinton at State.  Rice appeared on all five Sunday morning shows on September 16, five days after the deadly 9/11 attacks.  She advanced three core assertions for public consumption:
