Obama Literally Still Campaigning: Stephanie Cutter Sends Frantic Fiscal Cliff Email

Let me add, do we really need any new tax hikes? Will they actually generate any new revenues? Probably not. Besides, they would only account for $85B/year, which is a pimple on a gnat's behind with regards to the staggering deficits and debt (>$16 Trillion) which Obama doubled down on after Bush. Also, most often, when we raise taxes, the "projected" revenues never materialize to be anything close to the projections. However, spending always seems to increase to soak up the "projected" new revenues and then some. But when the projected revenues don't come in, the deficit and the debt continue to rise. That's our problem. It's spending, not revenue.

Over the weekend, President Obama tapped Obama For America Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter to send out a campaign email begging supporters to "tell their story" about how a $2,000 tax increase would hurt them. "Help President Obama right now: Share your story," the email subject reads.
