And Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) wants to ban "barrel shrouds", though she couldn't answer Tucker Carlson when he asked her if she knew what a barrel shroud is. She said she thought it was that thing that went over your shoulder? HUH? WTF was she talking about. Here's an elected official championing some law to restrict the rights of Americans and she hasn't a clue what she's trying to ban. Typical for progressives. Emotion rules their thinking, not logic and serious reflection. They also never think about the long term effect and the unintended consequences.

A new Gallup poll shows the majority of Americans believe armed police stationed at schools would be the most effective way to prevent and stop school shootings. They also believe spending more money on the mental healthcare system would help prevent another Sandy Hook.

Americans are most likely to say that an increased police presence at schools, increased government spending on mental health screening and treatment, and decreased depiction of gun violence in entertainment venues would be effective in preventing mass shootings at schools.
