We have a similar problem in Minnesota. The anti gun rights democrats sat and listened to their gun control toadies testify regarding gun violence during a hearing to debate proposed, new, gun control bills in the Minnesota House. Then, when it was time for pro gun rights people to testify, the democrats got up and left the hearings. They don't want to listen to the other side. They have their agenda's and that's that.
