Continued: Assault rifles as already stated are a misnomer. A word created by the pundits. If there were such a gun, it would be a military weapon capable of fully automatic spray. Such guns are not available to the public except maybe through blackmarket (created by Fast and Furious?) What the pundits call an assault rifle, as already stated, are simply semi-autos, hunting action/barrel in intimidating stock. They are not sought after by hunters as you say. To the contrary, they are bought for home defense and in fear of tyranny, a rogue government. That's what the 2nd Amendment is all about anyway. John, next time you write an article about guns, research with a Redneck who has a better understanding instead of going to the library.
