He asked the question why he should pay less than his secretary. Republicans answered that he can pay more anytime he wants to - notice they did not answer the question, only tried to make him the one in the wrong. He replied that he would match every dollar any republican gave. One would think that every Republican who is screaming about the deficit would write a check even if it was only for a $1000 just to get the money from Mr. Buffett... but alas, no. Republicans are big on telling others what to do, but small on doing.
Wow... talk about misinformation. Everything you said is exactly that MISINFORMATION. Why do we need more deep water drilling when there are THOUSANDS of wells already drilled and CAPPED? If you remember, they were capping the well for later when it exploded.
SPECULATION - U.S. demand for oil and refined products - including gasoline - is down sharply from last year, so much that United States has actually become a net exporter of gasoline, unable to consume all that it makes. Yet oil and gasoline prices are surging. On Tuesday, oil rose past $105 a barrel and gasoline averaged $3.57 a gallon - thanks again in no small part to rampant financial speculation. ARTIFICIAL MARKETS, create artificially high prices. Did you know that the United States, actually produces more than half of the oil it consumes. Canada is the largest supplier of imported oil to the United States.
Perhaps Mr. Christie is unaware but, Mr. Buffett has offered to write a check to the government — as soon as any of the Republicans who have called on him to do so write one first. n January, Mr. Buffett told Time Magazine he’d match dollar-for-dollar any voluntary contribution made by Republicans. "And I’ll even go three-for-one for McConnell,” he added, referring to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. Thus far, Mr. Buffett has had to match just one Republican — Rep. Scott Rigell (R-VA).
From what I read here, the church teaches that a woman should not use birth control, should not have an abortion, etc... I do not see anywhere in the bible or the teachings of Jesus Christ that talks about insurance.. can you please direct me to the appropriate chapter and verse?

James O’Keefe’s latest video features surrogates appearing to commit voter fraud in yesterday’s New Hampshire primary election, all in an attempt to highlight voter fraud, a problem which is by-and-large nonexistent in the Granite State. The undercover video shows unnamed individuals working at James O’Keefe’s behest approaching polling stations throughout New Hampshire. After poll workers asked for the person’s name, O’Keefe’s agents gave the name of a voter who died within the past few weeks, before then receiving a ballot to vote.
One last thing.... "Advise and consent" should not be a license to "demand and obstruct". The Republicans are making it abundantly clear that they are blocking Richard Cordray, not on the basis of "advise and consent" of the person but to circumvent the law (the legislation establishing the consumer protection agency) by blocking the nominee.
