Media, schmedia -- you people will never learn that you turned your children over to a radical leftist government education system -- and that gay marriage is just one of the most popular themes on elementary school campuses not to mention higher levels of education -- after all, it is part of tolerance teaching. Now I happen to think that gay marriage is a non-issue given that it is patently morally wrong to deny visitation at hospitals and such like to anyone that a person wants to be by his or her side -- and that what people do in their private lives nothing compared with what is going on in Washington with the blackmail and the buying and selling of votes and members of Congress -- and even Supreme Court justices. I might even add that people have been living in such relationships for centuries -- and that people who are heterosexual have a wide host of immoral relationships -- and are quite capable of destroying their own spouses through abuse that need not be physical. Where is the one virtuous enough to throw stones? AMAZING how we can become so emotionally upset about something that might happen inside our own extended family while our politicians are robbing us blind, selling our children and grandchildren into slavery, and selling our country out to the Saudis and the Chinese and various others and we keep sending them back to Washington
Like all good propaganda, this little ditty has some truth mixed in with the lies. The biggest implied lie is that "Rich people = Republicans" -- when we all know that Wall Street (read Goldman Sachs) ran the Treasury under both Bush and Obama (Geithner may not have been a GS employee but he has been working for GS since his days at the Fed) ... and that the ONLY person I can recall who suggested that the people -- not the banks -- should have been bailed out after the 2008-09 crash was Newt Gingrich.
But Milbank is RIGHT (almost)! The two parties have long been jovially jousting on certain hot-button social issues while quietly conspiring to fatten their personal pocketbooks and those of their biggest financia supporters for decades -- and then the Tea Partiers had to come in and start talking financial accountability ... and they began to dry up the overflowing well. Heck, the Occupiers almost came to the same conclusions, but their minds have been so muddled and their brain so addled by today's education establishment they have not totally figured it all out yet.
