Are you kidding? Make room on that ledge for me! I'll bring the beer! I haven't completely lost faith and am cautiously optimistic for Tuesday! We need Ohio and Pennsylvania. C'mon folks! Pray like never before!!! This just might be a nail biter!

Well said Larry! I get so flustered by poor misguided souls like RG25, I don't know where to start. To think that was me just a few short years ago-- until I did some honest research and my own thinking! Go Romney/Ryan!!!

It's amazing and sad that this truly great man has been vilified and his proposals misrepresented to the point that the polls are this close. An example of the the media's aiding and abetting misinformation: The whole myth of an auto company "bailout." It really bothers me because I live in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. It was a UNION bailout, but still and GM and Chrysler bankruptcy. It was started by President Bush, who gets no credit of course, but morphed into an illegal form of bankruptcy that protected and funded the unions. We the people are on the hook for billions that will never be paid back! And if anyone bothered to listen to the CEO of GM speak this past spring and summer at a press conference, you would have...
Sherrod is the self-proclaimed most liberal person in the Senate. I have no clue how he got elected in Ohio. It must be that when he and Obama got elected to the Senate back in '06, the political tide was such that it became an "anybody but Bush and Republicans" kinda mentality-- without thinking what or who they were actually voting for. People seem to have thown caution to the wind and just went for Democrats. I understand how that can happen once. I just hope there is some serious buyer's remorse come Tuesday!!!
Whatever... Let's just look at the results of Obama's continuation of the liberal policies that marred the end of Bush's second term.. On average, over the course of the Bush Administration, there were 300,000 jobs created per month and unemployement was in the 5% range. This comes from the US Bureau of Labor Statictics. After 4 years of President Obama, we have added a net of only 190,000 jobs, total, with a REAL unemployment rate of around 14%. I'd take Bush's "mess" over Obama's outright disaster any day! President Obama took a weak economy and made it worse, plain and simple!
You said quite a bit in so few words-- well said!!!
Talk about politicizing this tragedy for one's own benefit! How disgusting! The President is good at photo opportunities, writing checks to people, and grabbing credit for things he really has or had little to do with (like the capture and killing of Osamb Bin Laden.) I just ripped up my check to the Red Cross and am sending one to my church for the Sandy relief effort instead. I will never give anything to them again!
Wayne, you just made my day!!! Thank you so very much! JustMC and PaulusTexter below, have some pretty passionate comments. I couldn't disagree more ,however, but that's OK. I wish you well and we'll just have to agree to disagree. It saddens me to see such vitriol and folks hell bent on helping to bring about what they claim they are against by saying and promoting such outrageous ideas about Mitt Romney. Is he perfect? No. But he is this country's best hope. I've come around to really admire and respect him lately. If elected, I bet you two will be happier than you think. Peace all !
