Obama's gun control measures would not have prevented any of the previous mass shootings and won't prevent future ones. This is a liberal "makes me feel good" act. Newtown shooter's guns were registered - Background check would have found nothing. Colorado shooter's guns (in both shootings) were registered and background checks would have found nothing. Virginia Tech shooter's guns were registered and background check would have found nothing. Plus all these shootings would hve taken virtually the same amount of time with the legal smaller magazines, in these cases bad guys will ignore the new mag limits anyway. Obama's bill will solve nothing but make law biding citizens. especially women easier targets.

President Obama just wrapped up remarks at the White House pushing for more "common sense" gun control measures as public support for new legislation wanes.
