Obama wanted Mubarak and Ghadafi removed from power in their respective countries because although both were scum, they were enforcing the peace between Israel and the rest of the Arab world. And that was an obstruction to Obama's goals of assisting the Caliphate in assuming power in the region, so he provoked the rebellions in both countries. Then, like cowards of his ilk always do, he hid behind a woman's skirt and acted like he had no idea what was going on.

Obama supplied weapons to the Libyan rebels knowing that they were members of Al Qaeda, and that they'd eventually be used against our troops. Stevens was trying to get them back, and could incriminate Obama in another Fast & Furious type operation. THAT is why Obama LET him and the others die.
