The US govt has NEVER reduced spending. At no time has Obama or the Democrats ever proposed any reduction in spending. Since we implemented baseline budgeting, all the discussions center around the RATE OF GROWTH in spending. There is ZERO confidence based upon the facts of history that those who love to spend other people's money will ever lose their addiction.

I believe it's time to reconsider these words of wisdom from the Declaration of Independence— Our nation is deeply divided between two polar opposite ideologies. The areas of common ground grow fewer and fewer. The areas that divide us grower more distinct. When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
It sounds like your little bubble you live in has truly succeeded in separating you from reality. There are millions of educated, literate conservatives who believe in the principles of liberty that our founders sought to establish and provide for generations to follow. We are fed up with 100 years of incremental marxism clothed under the guise of "progressive" politics.' We recognize that the divisions between the two ideologies in this country are beyond any further compromise. It's time to be realistic and pursue our different visions.
