In response to:

Business Executives at White House: Save Us! Raise Their Taxes!

At least Progressives will survive without Conservatives, whereas Conservatives will not survive without Progressives. Progressives know how to join together and pool their efforts so those who do not wish to labor don't have to, businesses exist to please the collective rather than to exploit others for profits, and all necessities of life are provided in unlimited quantities to everyone for free. At the end of the day, everyone joins hands and lives in blissful harmony knowing that they have helped the members of the collective ragardless of individual contributions. Meanwhile, Conservatives eat each other with competition. Nothing has ever been gained when self interest is the goal.

The sad thing is, what is sarcasm to LD and many of us, is dogma to the majority. This was proven on November 6, 2012.

When I finally caught on to LD I realized that he is merely writing what liberals truly believe even when they hide it from themselves and in doing so, his satire comes forth.

Yes, but who do you think is going to get up every day, go to work, and then pay taxes so the rest of you can sit around pontificating how wonderful you and your "progressive" world is and, oh! I forgot you are all good at breeding too at our expense.

The inner cities will do fine when the economy crashes....they're not part of it anyway. Besides they know they all can hold out for years just depending on the rat populations infesting our big cities. Labor unions will be OK, they have billions in reserve just for such a rainy day, liberals will be OK because the expect to benefit from their years of supporting UN feeding programs and "Feed the Children".

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I really hope you're being facetious. Truly, progressives are the ones who will be in big trouble if real disasters hit. They have allowed themselves to become helpless and dependent on government, while those of us with a clue are able to take care of ourselves without government help, when necessary. Progressives will be the Katrina victims sitting on rooftops waiting to be saved, while the self-sufficient will be long gone and living comfortably elsewhere.

You sir (Loyal Democrat) are a nut. You watch way too much Star Trek.

Don’t worry, folks. All is well.

Barack Obama “gets” it.

"The president gets it," says the chief executive officer and chairman of Honeywell, in a Reuters article.

“David Cote, chief executive and chairman of Honeywell,” says Reuters, “told reporters that Obama understood a combination of tax measures and reforms of social programs will be necessary to address the so-called fiscal cliff and beyond that, the deficit.”

I’m really glad that Obama met with business leaders to straighten out that pesky “tax” thing that the rest of us have been so confused about. I’m equally comforted that the major wire services...
