I donate to the Salvation Army. Ever since I saw the Red Cross charging for coffee after a tornado I haven't given them anything except for the 9-11 terrorist attack. I still wonder where all that money went.

My father told me the Red Cross charged GI's for coffee during WWI. Only the Brits gave out free tea. Guess nothing has changed snce then, so Im donating to the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities.

Being from Louisiana, I saw first-hand the difference between The Red Cross and The Salvation Army.

While the Red Cross was being interviewed on TV, the Salvation Army was on the front lines, giving out coffee and food, clothes and comfort. I never saw any aid from the Red Cross, but they sure got the publicity. At the same time, the Salvation Army never sought any publicity. They quietly and efficiently took care of people.

Hear, hear! I too go for the Salvation Army. Besides being tuchis-kissers for Obama, the Red Cross also is in bed with Islamo-terror jihadists and refuses to recognize Israel, and are generally into the whole "One World utopia" camp. And I've had this stance long before Obama even came on the scene.

On Friday night, swing-voters across the nation saw a one-minute advertisement paid for by the Red Cross featuring President Barack Obama.

The ad comes on the weekend before the election, and while the Red Cross does unquestionable good for millions of Americans, the choice to run this ad comes noticeably close to a campaign endorsement for President Obama.

Here’s the transcript from the ad:

When a natural disaster strikes, it can leave tens of thousands of families in need of help, and it can also bring out the best in the American people....
