I have no problem at all with CEO owners of privately owned companies and corporations paying themselves whatever they want, after all, it is their company, and they typically have the good of their company at heart (most do not want to kill the goose that laid the golden egg--but if they do, that is their business, it IS their goose). But I DO have a problem with CEOs of publically owned companies and corporations (which they do not own) paying themselves whatever they want, their excessive pay (and most CEO pay today is insanely excessive) robs the company and its owners, and the same applies to government owned companies. But I submit that Federal Government owned companies in America are unconstitutional. Louie

I might add that while Obama is touting wind energy, his environmentalist buddies are trying to stop this through court actions.

Beverly, ALL Federal agencies today need to "go away", they need to be shut down, because they are ALL being used today by the Marxists in our Federal government to destroy America from within.

Edges, "protecting the environment" is just a guise to shut the American economy down from within. They know our economy run on energy, and the easiest way to strangle the economy is to shut off domestic energy production.

4) The environmental movement has, from the beginning, been driven by Marxists and funded by Marxist Russia. Now the enemy is within and has seized control. Obama and his Marxist masters and Liberal followers are following the Marxist playbook to bring America down from within, and all of the Federal agencies today are focused on that agenda. Obama and his EPA, knowing that the American economy runs on energy, are trying to shut down all effective domestic energy production (oil, gas, shale, and nuclear), under the guise of environmentalism. Unless we can get the Communists out of our Federal Government, we are doomed. Louie

A number of points: 1) And when they do hold their period for public comment, they ignore the comments—they have their agenda, and what they are doing is agenda driven. 2) What the Federal agencies are doing is unconstitutional and therefore illegal, but that aside, they should not be able to force rules on one state that they are not forcing on others, that alone would be unconstitutional. 3) Obama failed to get his carbon cap, tax, and trade through Congress, so he said he would go around Congress (and the Courts) and do it anyway by executive order and executive agreement, and that is what he is doing. He has order the EPA to effectively institute cap, tax, and trade. (continued).

Obama has told the Palestinian leaders that he cannot do it now, but to wait until he is reelected, then he will have a free hand to give them a Palestinian state by taking away land from Israel without them having to made concessions. Be patient, he says. Louie

Gayle, the worst is yet to come. A fiat monetary collapse is foretold in the Catholic prophecies, which will trigger explosive hyperinflation and worldwide bankruptcy. It will be caused by governments squandering money which will cause the axle upon which the economy rotates, confidence in the system, to break. It will take a whole wheelbarrow of money to buy the least trifle. Food will become scarce and expensive, and fathers will hear their children crying for food. This will occur this year, 2012. Financial experts who know nothing of prophecy are now warning that we are close to monetary collapse. So get ready. Louie

For all practical purposes, the Federal Government does not belong to the people, the people (and the States) belong to the Federal government. Louie

The big wall-street banks should have been allowed to fail like any private or publicly owned corporation. Why did our government bail out the investment banks, the very ones that caused the crisis, especially when public sentiment was against it? Why weren’t the American people bailed out instead? Because the same people who control those banks also control the Federal Government by the hidden hand of the Illuminati. It’s the buddy system at work. The government does NOT belong to the people. The slogan “by the people, of the people, for the people” is just a dishonest mantra designed to make the relationship between the government and the people more palatable.
