In response to:

Can Republicans Talk?

This is a good article Thomas, and thanks for writing it. We need a fighter, but Romney is neither a Conservative, nor a fighter. The polls are close, and whenever they are close the Democratic Party steals the election. You know, all the dead people in the cemetery turn out to vote Democratic, more than once no less. And the Republican Party does little to stop this blatant fraud. It would be funny, if it weren't so tragic. Louie

Which is why photo ID needs to be passed in all of the states. If the dead, cartoon characters and wetbacks can vote, we no longer have the rule of law.

Louie -- the polls aren't really all that close. The press takes great care to make them see closer than they are by talking about popular vote. But the popular vote doesn't count. It is the electoral vote that actually elects the president. And Obama has the electoral vote sewn up.

Think about it. Where are the biggest areas of Democrat support? The Northeast and the West Coast. Who has the most electoral votes? The Northeast and the West Coast. Big cities (with large welfare populations) are clustered in these areas.

The GOP is dead, demographically. It can no longer hope for an Electoral College win. That is just the way it is. And the sooner we let the GOP go the way of the Whigs and build a new coalition, the better.

Keep trying to convince yourself of that Corbett.

Corbett, your point concerning the polls is well taken. But either way, Conservatives lose.

As far as building a new coalition goes, it's too late, we are out of time. Prophetic dreams dating back over a generation foresaw that Obama, identified not by name but by number, would be the last elected president of the American Republic, that is, that the Republic would end during his designated first term. The curious thing about these dreams is that although they each began with a different president, they all ended their count with Obama. The Third World War will being this year, under Obama, and the invasion of America during that war will bring the American Republic to its end.

The first time I saw Chris Christie on television, shortly after he became governor of New Jersey, my immediate reaction was, "My Gosh! A Talking Republican!" It was almost like seeing a talking giraffe or a talking salamander.

Technically speaking, Republicans do talk, but talking is definitely not their strong suit. Nor do they seem to have put a lot of thought into what they say or how they say it. The net result is that articulate Democrats can get away with the biggest lies, without any serious rebuttal from most Republicans.

I have not heard any Republican official or candidate even try...
