The NAACP No Longer Speaks For Me

I read Henry's columns from time to time and I must say I find most of them to be OK and interesting. But I find it a shame that many feel that they need some kind of GROUP to speak for them! Why does anyone need a GROUP to speak for them? I was in a union shop and as soon as I could petition the NLRB for removal of representation I did just that. The union did noting but take our money and say how much help they would be at the next contract table. What a joke 29 people voted to remove the union after 25 years! Not one vote for the union. American we have out FREEDOM OF SPEECH and need to use it OURSELVES and not count on some GROUP to make our point!
