It's long overdue. The press has long taken for themselves a god-like mantle that exempts them from any human decency...rudeness as exemplified here, prying questions of those who have just lost a loved one (no, we DON'T have a RIGHT to know how they're feeling at this moment), failure to put down the camera & mic to help a victim, crossing barricades we can't & demanding special passes just because they're "the press",etc. I'm glad those attendees had the guts to stand up for themselves and point out rudeness. We no longer fear the press, so I bet we'll see more of this.
Those stations could have had just a camera filming the speakers, and then had their frontman out in the lobby. A good editor could pull shots from both cameras...
