John, This article gave me that same lump in the throat feeling I get when the National Anthem is played any time, anywhere. The one feeling of overwhelming pride at the launch of the Columbia for the first time. The reverence I felt at the pledge of Allegiance in school EVERY morning growing up. And today, the anger, frustration, helplessness I feel at the direction the country has taken over the past several decades. You have summed up in this very fine article so much of what is wrong, upside down and treacherous about our government and their ever expanding mission to destroy what AMERICA is and has stood for for so long.. The absurd statement from awhile back by the "first ""lady"", of "all this for a flag," should echo down the ages

That that outrageous statement was not met by derision, anger and shame, is a telling failure of the populace and the complacence we face in the present and future. This is MY country, land of the free and home of the brave. The blood of patriots through the ages will NOT be in vain. The corruption in government MUST be fixed, and soon. As stated in every election cycle, "THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN OUR LIFETIME."The choice is clear to those that will see. We must aid those that are still blind in every way we can.

Liberty is about a lot of things; it’s a deep topic. But at its core liberty can be summed up in one simple and reciprocal concept.  That concept is respect.  

You know the 2010 last election was about many things, but it was mostly about respect.

It was about starting to restore the respect that people have in government, by getting the government to restore the respect that they show to you…by taking liberty seriously.
