Unfortunately the mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv will be the first reality check and with the continuing advances made by the Iranians and accelerating enrichment, there aint nobody with an accurate assessment. This is why the only bastion of truth left, the internet and such blogs as this, are under attack and the guvment wants to begin "regulation" of same.

The 2% payroll tax holiday, while no doubt popular with working people, was a two edged sword as it decreased the money going to the social security fund. (A fund that was removed from the "lockbox" by LBJ and squandered to be replaced with worthless IOU's that will never be honored or repaid.) Just a little more of the spending our way out of debt meme. Even the current theme of an "ENTITLEMENT" that was paid for and then robbed and now is included in items that must be cut as unsustainable. Without LBJ's actions, SS recipients would be able to receive roughly triple what they do now and there would be plenty of money in reserve. NEVER in my lifetime has there been more biased American reporting. More truth comes out of Pravda's edition than any of our media and that is tragic and sad. Good is bad. Black is white. It just goes to show that even when given what they support and mandate, that it is OUR fault when they get it. Government has become a mere blame game and truth and reality do not enter into the discussion.
