Transparency: White House Refusing to Release Benghazi Situation Room Photos

There are no photos available because the "war cabinet" was in recess. Obama was running to catch the jet to the fund raiser in Las Vegas. V. Jarrett was in contact with Iran to see what was required. The nimble Panetta was out doing something. The General in Europe was ready but the "Arab Spring" was in full bloom and he was not permitted to use his US. military to save the ambassador or the SEALS on the ground. Was the US running guns to the rebels in Syria? Similar to Fast and Furious? Was the Blind Sheik to be ransomed for the return of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, not to a consulate in Benghazi? We need a "Deep Throat" inside the Transparent Administration to expose the truth of the situation. Hillary was away on business. Alibi.

Your right. We need to organize as a people and let the world know how we feel. We need to demand that justice be served and all people involved pay the price of their actions. We need to do this loudly, I think on the steps of Washington with proper leadership. Let's not give up on the fight for justice and truth. Let's be relentless like the Wall Street crowd. We need to keep attention on this so everyday the world could watch and listen. If this administration is allowed to get away with what they did, we are not only doomed for more of the same as a country, but morally and spiritually we will be broken. I know I will feel that way. How about you. What do you think?

Even if we had a "deep throat", we don't have any Woodwards or Bernsteins who are willing to cover this president honestly.

Maybe, Ann, someone will come forth. Dangerous times often produce great heroes who would otherwise be unknown.

I wonder if as a people if we could sue certain news channels for improperly covering a news event. Can we sue them for purposely holding back information to the public? They, like the administration , are lying to the public by not saying anything. I want to find out about that. Would you help me.

How 'bout that Springtime in mussieland!

Nearly three months after the lethal terrorist attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, the Obama Adminstration continues to pay lip service to transparency, but refuses to deliver. CBS News has requested a number of photos and documents that might provide a better idea of what, exactly, happened at the White House on September 11, 2012, but the administration won't cooperate.

CBS News first requested the images on Oct. 31. In the past, the White House has released photos showing US officials during national security incidents. A half dozen images related to the mission that captured and...
